Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN)
Provincial Research Networks | Québec

The Quebec Pain Research Network, financially supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé, is the creation of researchers from 11 Universities, and includes members from several Quebec universities. The Quebec Pain Research Network engages patients, researchers, educators, health professionals, industry representatives and government policy advisors in a national collaboration. The QPRN guides new research on pain, provides training for researchers and clinicians, and translates research knowledge into policy. Patients participate as partners and collaborate with professionals to set priorities for patient health, new treatments, and the effectiveness of Canada’s health care system. This network represents an unprecedented level of collaboration among national partners. It supports, coordinates, and synchronizes important and innovative research projects to remove barriers to the management of chronic pain.
